When the respondents were asked to mention top causes of death in Swaziland, HIV/AIDS and road accindents were mentioned the most. Other causes raised include homicide, hunger/poverty, alcoholism, diabetes, drug abuse etc.When analyzing the results in terms of gender, more women (81.6%) mentioned HIV/AIDS as the the top cause of death than men (78.3%). Men surveyed believe accidents are also a major cause of death in Swaziland (75.7%) than women (66.7%).
