Swaziland has a fascinating blend of old and new, past and present tourist attractions. In this land of abundant verdant hills and valleys, there is one that stands out as the most beautiful of them all; this is Ezulwini valley (the valley of heaven) which lies at the bottom of the Malagwane hills along the Manzini/Mbabane highway. Ezulwini valley is the Swaziland 's most visited tourist area where excellent hotels, restaurants, craft outlets, activities and other attractions are found. It offers a wealth of attractions to the visitor and is an ideal base from which to explore the kingdom.
This lush sub-tropical Ezulwini area has a wide offering of accommodation ranging from hotels to lodges with luxury rooms and suites where you can enjoy the most refreshing time ever. Apart from the rooms, there are self catering apartments and comfortable breakfast establishments. Within the hotel complex are shops offering quality clothing and a wealth of a fine reading material.
Around Ezulwini valley are roadside markets with a wide selection of arts and crafts, and also diverse and fascinating shops such as Mantenga Craft Centre. Also found are restaurants which cater for every taste, providing international and Swazi food and drinks of superlative standard. These include The Calabash and Woodlands restaurants to name a few. The night life is very diverse and offers something for everyone from dancing the night away to indulging in an evening of fine dining. There are nightclubs and casinos (at the Royal Swazi Sun) providing entertainment until the small hours of the morning.
Swaziland has traditionally designed tourists' hot spots to give them an experience of Swazi culture. These are the places with Swaziland 's historical treasures. In the valley there is Mantenga Nature Reserve which embraces a Swazi cultural village where visitors can learn about the day to day life in a traditional Swazi homestead and enjoy vibrant Swazi dance shows. Also, found in the reserve is the breathtaking Mantenga Falls and a Lodge which is in an ideal tranquil setting with the best accommodation.
As far as nature is concerned, Ezulwini valley has the best. The Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is Swaziland 's oldest nature reserve and is known as the mother of conservation in the Kingdom of Swaziland . Visitors can get down to horse riding, walking, game drives as well as cultural experiences there.
